Red Hat, Inc, the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, announced that Arkeia Software, a leading provider of solutions for network backup, with offices in the United States, Brazil, France and Germany, has achieved Red Hat Advanced ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Partner status. Arkeia has certified its mission-critical data backup and disaster recovery solutions on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

As a Red Hat Advanced ISV Partner, Arkeia will have access to the tools and resources for developing and testing its applications on new Red Hat technologies. Arkeia will receive in-depth sales and marketing support, along with training to help their customers realise the value of open source solutions.

Earlier this month, Arkeia announced that it will support Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 in its up-coming Arkeia Network Backup version 9, featuring next-generation data backup deduplication.
